We take safety very seriously and have tested our beaded teethers independently through a testing lab for compliance to Australian safety standard AU/NZS ISO:8124:3:2012 - physical and mechanical properties. Not all handmade teethers on the market are subjected to this rigorous strength testing (you must ensure it is independently tested to Part 3 - some are only tested to Part 1 which only looks at the trace elements of materials), so please ensure you double check with your preferred store as loose beads pose a serious choking risk to babies.

This ensures they meet Australian mandatory standards and that they are safe and securely constructed. However, please ensure you check teethers regularly for any loosening or damage. If any damage is evident, please discontinue use immediately.

To care for your teethers, simply wash in mild soapy water and hang to dry. Wooden products can be wiped cleaned with a damp cloth. Our wooden products are untreated so you may wish to treat them with your preferred oil or wax for a more polished look.
